I have worked in Materials Management since 1997 starting in the natural products industry as a warehouse person, in the early 2000’s I decided to move to Alberta to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry and haven’t looked backed.
Originally starting in oil field construction as an apprentice pipefitter, over time I moved on to be a partner owner and manager of an oilfield supply business before getting the opportunity to go work for the customer Cenovus.
Over the past 12 years I have worked for Cenovus always in a SCM role, starting at the Christina Lake SAGD facility as a Procurement Specialist, Growing into the site SCM Sr Coordinator, moving to Calgary to take a group lead in Category Management (Maintenance & Support Services Category), eventually landing in my current role as the Manager of Oilsands Procurement and Logistics (which includes Warehousing, Procurement, Well Delivery Laydown Yard Operations, Asset Recovery and Master Data).
