Dr. Dhaval Gajjar is an Assistant Professor at Clemson University’s Department of Construction Science and Management in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities. Dr. Gajjar possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Master of Science and Ph.D. in Construction Management, all from Arizona State University. He has significant construction industry experience working as a Project Manager for TEPCON Construction and as a Construction Manager for Harkins Theatres responsible for all facility remodel projects. Dr. Gajjar also has over 10 years of significant research experience in the field of project management and supply chain related to expertise driven project delivery, procurement, performance metrics and performance measurement and risk minimization. He has authored ten (10) refereed journal publications, one book chapter, and twelve (12) conference presentations disseminating the research results. He has also conducted over 25 presentations in the construction and FM industry educating the industry professionals on using the research tools. He is also a recipient of 2014 IFMA Karen Marcel Scholarship Award and 2015 IFMA Utilities Council Scholarship Award and is a certified Facility Management Professional (FMP) and Sustainable Facility Professional (SFP).
